President -Daniel Dycus, CPP
Dan has over 20 years of payroll and accounting experience. He has been a member of the WMAC-APA and the APA since 1998. He became certified in 1999. He is Past President of the WMAC-APA.Dan is very active at the national level with the APA and AAPA.
Currently, Dan is the Senior Manager, Payroll for Intelsat Corporation and the Founder of the WMAC-AAPA. He was APA's 2009 Payroll Man of the Year and AAPA 2010 Accounts Payable Man of the Year. Dan also serves on the APA Certification Board and is currently the Chair of the Fundamental Payroll Certification. He is a member of the National Speakers Bureau and has spoken at several APA Congresses.
Vice President - Stephanie Salavejus, CPP
Stephanie has over 24 years’ experience in payroll and accounting of which over 18 years have been with PenSoft. Stephanie graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
She is a Certified Payroll Professional since 2000 and a member of National and the Colonial Capital Chapter of the APA. She has served as the president of the Colonial Capital APA Chapter from November 2006-2008, and currently is the Vice President. She has served on the VSPC since 2005. She was voted 2010 Virginia Statewide Payroll Conference Payroll Professional of the Year.
Treasurer- Verlie Medford, CPP
Verlie has over 43 years’ experience in accounting and specialized in payroll in the mid 80's. Verlie earned her certification in 2005 and is a member of the National American Payroll Association. She is a member of the Hamption Roads Chapter of the APA and has served the chapter in various Board positions such as Treasurer and Membership. Verlie has volunteered with the VSPC committee for a number of years. She has served as Marketing and Communications Co-Chair person (2 years), Vendor Co chair person (1 year).
Secretary- Timothy Massenburg, CPP
Timothy is a graduate of the Virginia State University and has over 7 years of payroll/accounting experience. Tim has extensive experience in the Government Administration industry and currently he is the Payroll Supervisor of County of Henrico.
As a member of the Richmond Chapter of the APA since 2003 he currently serves as the Government Relations director. In addition to his dedication to the Richmond chapter Tim has volunteered with the VSPC since 2003 and currently is the chairman of the Historian committee. he has also served as the Vendor Co-Chair for multiple years.
